The students are expected to maintain highest standards in their academic, professional and private lives. Students shall be governed by the codes of conduct, framed and amended by the college from time to time. Certain undesired activities such as ragging, taking of alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited as they lead to degeneration in physical well-being and erosion of moral and spiritual values of the students. Students should abhor from using vulgar language and indulging in violence in thought, word and deed.
Students should give utmost importance to class work, home work, sessionals and practicals. Strict action will be taken against those who fail to follow the guidelines.
A minimum of 80% attendance in the theory and practicals is necessary to appear for the examinations. Students abstaining from examination without any valid reasons will be awarded zero mark. Student should produce medical certificates in case of illness and can go out only with the prior permission of the Principal after applying through the respective class teacher/warden.
Do’s
Regularly read all the notices displayed on the Notice Boards (Student notice board and Library notice board and departmental notice boards)
Compulsory participation in all the Special Lectures/functions arranged by the College.
Maintain strict silence in the college premises, especially in and around the Library.
Don’t’s
Use of chewing gum, tobacco etc.
Spitting in the college premises
Writing on the walls/desks
Tampering the electrical/sanitary fittings/boards or Fixtures
Littering in the college premises
Use of strong perfumes
Use of mobile phones in the college
Mobile Phone Policy
Student's mobile phones should be put off in the college premises. If found ringing in the college premises the teachers are authorized to confiscate the mobiles and report to the principal.
If found guilty, the confiscated mobile phones will not be returned to the student till completion of the course.
Staff members shall not keep their mobile phones switched on while conducting theory, practical classes and in library.
